SUMMARY:Ridgewood Neighborhood Donation Day at the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum
DESCRIPTION:Preserving Our Past\, Present and Future \nThere is a project underway to update the History of the Ridgewood Neighborhood through a partnership with The McKinley Presidential Library and Museum/Stark County Historical Society\, The Plain\nTownship Historical Society and The Ridgewood Association. In order to help facilitate the collection of Ridgewood information\, we are planning a Historic Ridgewood Day at the McKinley Museum on Saturday\, October 3\, 2020. On that day we plan to collect any information you may wish to share to update our History. Given the current state of health considerations\, the information will be handled on a Drive-Thru basis from 10 am to 2 pm. \nIn order to best organize the day\, save you time and adhere to COVID guidelines\, simply\ndrive by the McKinley museum\, we will come to your car to retrieve your information and provide\nyou with the proper paperwork. Once items are brought to the museum\, they will be placed\nin a Que to be recorded. Your original items will be returned to you later once recorded\nor copied. You may also donate these items as appropriate to the Museum Archives. Past\nRidgewood residents and friends are welcome to participate as well. All information\ngathered from this event will be shared by Historic Ridgewood\, McKinley Presidential\nLibrary and Museum and the Plain Township Historical Society to help preserve and share\nthe history of Ridgewood. The contributions shared by our Ridgewood friends will be used\nin our updated History publication and become part of our on-line information archive\ndedicated to Ridgewood’s History.  \nThank you for your support on this project.
